These seagrass baskets are a wonderful tall shape, perfect as a wastepaper bin, a plant basket or for storing toys. These stylish baskets will add texture and depth to any room of your house.
Each basket is carefully made by hand, by talented crafts men and women in Vietnam, using traditional tools and techniques. In a lovely soft, natural finish, these baskets are made from seagrass exclusively for us by Artisans in Vietnam and then wrapped and woven in white plastic string. When the seagrass is picked from the fields, it starts off green, but as it dries, it turns into a lovely soft natural colour.
Being hand made, each basket is unique and may differ slightly from piece to piece with small imperfections a charming reminder of its humble process.
